Dedicatedto the pleasures of water, it is maintained by an annual winterdrainage and by June provides a surface water area of 6 hectares as well as a designated zone
 
for superintended bathing.
Since 2004 the quality of the water has been impeccable and benefits from a quality check by the water services of the DDASS of the Creuse (Direction départementale des Affaires sanitaires et sociales).
The layout of the lake makes it very secure.
Access to the site is free.
The beach of La Naute is a meeting-place for all those who appreciate taking the plunge and cultivating a tan beside the water while topping this off with a cool drink,
an ice cream or a bite to eat at any time.


 
One might call it the Little Saint Tropez of the Creuse!
